If you’ve been charged with a DUI (Driving Under the Influence) it typically means you were driving after consuming more alcohol than the legal limit allows.
An OUI (Operating Under the Influence) is a bit different. You don’t have to be driving your vehicle while under the influence to be charged for an OUI. It is enough for you to be pulled over with your keys in your ignition to receive an OUI.
